About this site
The RAGE Fight Gear Knowledge Base is the educational arm of RAGE Fight Gear — a combat-sports gear store built by people who train. This site exists to answer the questions customers actually ask, without the marketing fog.
How we write
- Guidance is general and honest — including about what beginners shouldn't buy yet.
- Safety calls (sparring glove weights, headgear rules, guard requirements) always defer to your gym and your sport's governing body.
- No fake reviews, no invented specifications — where details vary by manufacturer, we say “check the chart” because that's the truth.
- Where a question is really a medical one — an injury, ongoing pain, a return-to-training decision — we say so rather than dressing up a guess as advice.
What this site covers
The lens is boxing, Muay Thai and MMA — three sports with overlapping but distinct gear needs. Coverage runs from head to feet and from a beginner's very first session through the kit a regular sparrer eventually accumulates: gloves and wraps, protective gear like shin guards, headgear and groin protection, apparel, footwear, bags and pads, and the materials and care habits that decide how long any of it lasts.
What we don't do
We don't give medical or return-to-play advice — that's a job for your doctor or physio, alongside your coach. We also don't review or compare specific brands and products: gear quality varies by batch and by how it's used as much as by brand, and a guide that pretended otherwise would be guessing.
The store
When you're ready to buy, ragefightgear.com carries gloves, wraps, protection and apparel — with the same straight-talking approach to what suits whom.
